Hope this finds you well!

So…. had a really busy week last week with 6 gigs!! This week is a bit more chilled! So… One of the highlights of the week has got to be being part of the Haiti fund-raising gig at Manchester Apollo! It was an amazing experience! I have played there a couple of times before – but in a band – not ON MY OWN with 2500 people in the audience!!! It was a privilege to be a part of such an event – raising over £62,000 for Haiti and raising 70 new children sponsored sponsoring through the Compassion Charity.

Here’s a little video of me loving my own dressing room!! V glam!! (until I saw Stephen Baldwin’s dressing room a few of us went to hang out in later – his was more like a palance and mine a school toilet’s – but it was still a first for me – and I loved it!!)

Good thing is… you can see how it went too! I did two tracks including one I wrote last week for Haiti. I had a hillarious experince of being rolled on, on a podium!! Was V Funny!! There was a whole camera crew recording the event and I will have the footage to share with you in the next week or so

On Friday – it was awesome to be a part of the Mustard Tree fund-raising event in Didsbury.  Check out their charity – they’re clientel consists of about 6000 of the most needy people in Manchester inclusing homeless people and assylum seekers.

On Saturday – I was part of the Green Bohemia’s 6th Birthday party celebration. I was on a chilled spot on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night was at The Lowry Hotel – playing their lush grand paino and being bought £30 glasses of port – it’s a hard life!!!

On Sunday – WOW!!! We wnet to see Imogen Heap!! She is one of my musical heros!!! Check out this video…

It’s ace because she makes me feel pretty normal in my thinking on stage – as in…. she’d a little mad and TOTALLY speaks her thoughts out-loud, saying stuff like…”ooo, how does this one start again?? What key are we in??!!” That’s what goes trhough my head sometimes too – mmmm what instrument to I pick up in this bit – is this the right button!! BUT while I do the madness in my head – Imongen Heap says it all out-loud to an audinece of about 1500 people!!! It was V Funny – really endeering too though. I think everyone was in love with her by the end of the show!!! I’m a bit jealous of her grand piano though – and her cool tree!!

What a cool week! I’m not trying to catch up on everything I didn’t dolast week – like applying to festivals, my e-mails…blah blah – boring stuff really!
