Hi!

Well… I’ve had quite a good week – I hope your week has been good too?!

Monday…I had a meeting with some of Manchester’s services for the homeless and addicts. It was good to hear there is loads going on. There are more and more links between the arts and social justice projects these days and I love it! There has been an opera put on by one organisation – all the cast are homeless – can’t wait to see it at the Royal Exchange on 23rd July!

Tuesday I was singing at an event at the Velodrome; Manchester’s National Cycling centre – it was an events against the gun and gang scene in the UK. Again, there are some really good initiatives taking place. Needs a lot of prayer though – I hate all the violence :(

Wednesday was The Sanctuary event – a creative arts meal / entertainment with the homeless. I did 4 songs – 3 with the loopy machine – it went down really well. I’ve got a new loops one; Dreams… I played it for the homeless guys because so many of their lives have been so painful and I wanted to encourage them to dream again.

So… last night was Lammars gig that our community have put on for nearly 2 years. One of my best friends Taylor Jackson hosts it. I joined her on a couple of tunes with my soul / jazz voice on!!!

Today is my video day… I’m recording the beginnings of my attic gigs :) I’ll let you have a video a week for 5 weeks starting this week :) Please let me know what you think! I’ll be releasing a little acoustic album of the recordings too.

We’re just waiting on the graphics for the album still :( Soooo bored of waiting now. I’m really trying to get it out before Glastonbury so that gives us 3 weeks.

My next gig is at Olives restaurant in Bolton next Sat 14th June.
