Hi again,

I hope you’ve had a good week!

It doesn’t really feel like Friday yet – with this 4 day week!

Had a good chat with the head of Hot House on Tuesday. They’re a creative company makng clothing / accessories out of 100% ethical and organic material. Very cool! I wrote a song for them to put to a promotion DVD last year – you can watch it on you tube. They’re launching a new campaign called ‘Lets Make Manchester Plastic Bag Free’. I’m thinking about selling my albums in thier cotton bags.. mmm

So.. had another gig at Town Cafe Last night and the loops machine didn’t go wrong!! Loved being able to be more creative on a live gig. I didn’t introduce the machine so when I came in with some harmonies – I got quite a few strange looks from people – very funny

I’ve been asked to do a couple more gigs off the back of last night; one being a wedding where I can use the loops machine and do my own stuff – now that’s good considering most weddings want mainly loved-up covers. Will be fun!

Had a good practice yesterday trialing some of my favorite covers to the loops. Vanessa Carlton; ‘Just A Day’ works well – I tries Alicia Keys ‘Falling’ too. Just a bit different.

Got a wedding tomorrow and a gig on Sunday in Altrincham. On Wednesday we’ve got the ‘Sanctuary’ event for Homeless people in Manchester. You’re welcome to come along and help out serving food etc if you like. I’ll be playing there too: 7.30 at The Mustard Tree, 110 Oldham Road, Manchester.
